She graduated from Kiev State Conservatoire (now National Musical Academy of Ukraine), studied at the Russian Music and Pedagogical Institute named after Gnesiny, as well as at the P. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatoire. In 1979 she received PhD. in Pedagogical Science in Moscow Pedagogical State University.
Being a pianist-performer, she gave numerous recitals and concerts with orchestras. Her repertoire includes works by J. S. Bach, Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Schumann, Liszt, Schubert, Brahms, Debussy, Ravel, Skriabin, Rachmaninov, Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Barber.
More than 45 years she teaches at the National Music Academy of Ukraine named after P. Tchaikovsky on Special Piano department. Among her graduates are composers, accompanists and teachers of all levels of musical educational establishments (junior schools, colleges, conservatoires and academies) in different countries of the world (Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Czech Republic, Georgia, Israel, Mexico, Poland, Russia, USA and Ukraine). Many of her alumni became winners of regional, national and international competitions.
She is an expert in the fields of musical psychology, pedagogy and methodology of musical education, the author of more than 30 publications in the fields of musical psychology, musical and pedagogical diagnostics and development of abilities, optimization and perfection of musical education, development of creative and intellectual endowments of children, methodology of musical training. She made numerous presentations on musical psychology and pedagogics at the international and national conferences and forums (Athens, Funchal, Kiev, Moscow, Odessa, Paris, St. Petersburg, Tbilisi, Vienna etc.). She is a consulting professor of several high and secondary musical educational establishments in Austria, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia.
For the last 18 years she has been organising more then 100 musical and pedagogical events in different countries (festivals, forums, “Schools of Mastery”) based on a developed by her a comprehensive program. This program include educational seminars, lectures and master classes for teachers, competitions for children and youth, concerts, consultations for parents on upbringing and development of children talents. Since 1998 she is the President of the International Association “Art and Education in the XXI Century”, the founder and leader of “The International School of Music, Pedagogical and Performing Mastery” and the international competition for young performers “21th Century Art”.
